Lyons Fencing & Services is an owner-run business based on the Gold Coast, headed by Artie Lyons. Every job is quoted on-site or online, planned properly, and built with the right materials for the site. Nothing goes in the ground until the plan and the price are agreed.
Some days it's Artie on the tools, other days it's the small crew working alongside him. Either way, the standard doesn't change. The reviews below are the best proof of that.

There are many factors that affect the price of a new fence, such as the length, the height, the slope of the land, the access, the existing fence removal, and the type of fence you're after. Every job gets a free on-site or online quote and we'll try our best to work within your budget.
Both are solid choices, it really comes down to what you want out of the fence. Colorbond is low-maintenance: it won't rot or warp, holds its colour for years, and needs next to no upkeep once it's up. Timber gives you that classic backyard look and copes well with sloped or uneven blocks since each paling can be adjusted individually — the trade-off is it needs occasional staining or oiling to keep it looking good over time. If you're after set-and-forget, go Colorbond. If you like the natural look and don't mind a bit of upkeep, timber's hard to beat. Happy to talk through what suits your place at your free quote.

Gold Coast and Tweed Coast is where we're based and where most of our jobs are, so if you're anywhere along that stretch we can get out for an on-site quote, or quote it online if that suits better. We're also happy to take on jobs further out in Brisbane and the Northern Rivers — just get in touch and we'll sort it out.
It depends on current bookings and the size of the job, so we'll give you a realistic start date and timeframe at your free on-site or online quote rather than guessing over the phone.
For an on-site quote, Artie (or the crew) comes to your property, measures up, and talks through fence options and materials with you so we can put together an accurate quote. Prefer online? Send a few photos and measurements and we'll quote it from there. Either way, no pressure, no obligation.
Yes, we generally remove the existing fence. We'll take it away if you'd like, no matter the condition — it's covered in the quote.
Same questions we'd ask on the phone, just faster — your exact price is always confirmed at a free on-site or online quote.
1.8m is the standard neighbour fence. 2.0m or under needs no council approval.
Raked panels follow the slope in a clean line instead of stepping down. Colorbond only.
A rough guess is fine — we confirm the exact figure on-site.
Tell us a bit about the job and we'll get back to you, usually within a day.
